Playset Safety Tips

Location should be level
Free of all rocks
6' fall zone in all directions
Place playset on soft, prepared area using materials like wood chips, pea gravel, shredded tires.
Make sure playset is anchored securely. Use steel anchor bars that go at least 12" into the ground.
Inspect equipment regularly
Supervision by an adult is always a great option!
Be sure to check for loose nuts and bolts, sharp edges, rust, cracking or splintered wood.

Unique Leveling System

The Dream Jungle Gym uses a unique leveling system to ensure a safe installation on un-level properties.While your jungle gym will be level and safe, some of the activities will be affected by the sloping property.

For example, if your slide is facing downhill (or uphill), it will be at a steeper angle( or more shallow angle) than normal; therefore it will be faster (or slower). (Diagram A)

If your swing beam is installed uphill, the swing position closest to the end will be lower to the ground. (Diagram B)

To determine play area size, it is recommended that you add six feet to the jungle gym dimension on all sides. However, beside swing beam side supports and other low traffic areas, it is not critical to have a six foot “play” area. Installing a resilient surfacing under the jungle gym is always recommended, and can be done AFTER your jungle gym is installed.

1: All construction is natural Redwood & Cedar. Because Redwood & Cedar are naturally resistant to rot and insect damage, no chemical treatment is necessary (unlike pine or other woods). (Photo B)

2: All wood is sanded, and edges and corners are rounded. Each piece is then factory stained and sealed before installation. This ensures a safe and long-lasting finish. (Photo B)

3: Huge 4”x6” and 4”x4” construction, plus our unique dual weight distribution system, means you never rely on any single bolt or fastener alone. All our load-bearing points are double supported. (Photo C)

4: The exclusive commercial-grade slides are rotationally molded and double-walled—the strongest available. (Not a foam-injected slide with a single wall, which is a 5th of the weight and can crack easily. (Photo G)

Limited Lifetime, 25 Year and 1 Year Warranty

Subject to ordinary use and proper installation, the manufacturer warrants with limitations stated below to the original purchaser at original address on sales receipt all components to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. Rust, and cracks in functional and non-functional plastic and metal parts are not considered defects in material and workmanship. Any components that are returned to the manufacturer under this limited one year warranty will be replaced or repaired at their option. Costs associated with work that must be performed on site is not covered. All labor costs will be the responsibility of the customer. In addition, for a pro-rated period of 25 years, during which the original purchaser at original address on sales receipt owns the playset, the manufacturer warrants all wood components against structural failure due to insect infestation or wood rot. Seasonal checks, cracks and warping are considered a natural characteristic of jungle gyms and do not result in structural failure and are not covered under this warranty. Installation, travel expenses and all labor costs involved with replacement or parts are responsibility of the original purchaser.This limited lifetime warranty applies to super scoop slide, scoop slide and ductile swing hangers. the manufacturer reserves the right to examine photographs and/or physical evidence of merchandise claimed to be defective and to recover merchandise prior to any warranty claims. All merchandise returned for inspection must be sent freight pre-paid. This warranty does not apply to any jungle gym subjected to abuse, vandalism, improper installation, or acts of God. Also, any alteration, addition, or relocation of the jungle gym by the customer or anyone other than the manufacturer voids warranty. All models are for residential use only. Warranty does not cover any commercial use. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties; it excludes all consequential damages. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. the manufacturer does not authorize any person or representative to express or imply any other warranty.
